Squeezing mobile capabilities to broadcast LIVE video on internet in 2005.

Developing a mobile app (Symbian on Nokia) to video stream directly from the mobile camera into a RTSP server was definitely pushing over the edge mobile capabilities early on 2005. I can confirm this based on the number of problems we faced and challenges that we solved to make this work. We managed to develop a product for News Reporters to stream “anywhere anytime” MPEG4 video to a server receiver and recording server. note: Createcna worked as well in partnership with Motorola to implement this same solution using their native OS as a pioneer experience worldwide.
